Robert (Rob) Lee has been an active Republican since he could vote. He’s been a leader in the College Republicans, Young Republicans, and other Republican organizations across the country. In 2004, he served as the Nevada Team Leader for the College Republican National Committee field program. Later, he served as a precinct committeeman and Young Republican officer in McHenry County, IL before relocating to Georgia where he now calls home. Since that time, he's been a member of the GAGOP State Committee, an officer in the 11th District GOP, served as Chairman of the Cobb County Young Republicans, and currently serves as Chairman of the Georgia Young Republicans. Under his Chairmanship, Georgia was recognized as the 2016 Best State Federation and 2016 Best Website.
Rob is also an accomplished project manager in manufacturing. He successfully led the reorganization of the quality system for a global manufacturer of PCB assemblies and its registration under the ISO 9001 family of quality standards. Later, he managed manufacturing programs that serviced major home appliance manufacturers and other applications. Rob is also a certified internal process auditor, earned a Project Management Professional certification in 2011, and still consults small manufacturing companies across the country on their process management, staff training, and other processes. Rob currently owns and manages two separate small companies: 2g Strategies, a consulting firm aiming to help political organizations and small businesses increase the value of their efforts and services; and EMC Testing, a small firm assisting companies with regulatory compliance validation testing for electronic products sold in Europe. On top of all that, Rob is a board member of the Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta.
Rob lives in Kennesaw with his wife, Blair, their two dogs, Happy and Grace, and their cat, Avett.
