Chris Ford is a 25-year-old independent technology project management and Quality Assurance consultant. Previously, he was in an executive leadership development program at General Motors Financial. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Baylor University. There he served as President of his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, was on the rowing team and served as a group leader in his church.

Chris is a lifelong conservative and became active in the Dallas County Young Republicans upon graduation. In early 2016, he was awarded the Dallas County Young Republican of the Year award at the county’s Reagan Day dinner and was elected as Communications Director of Dallas YR. Also active in the county party, he has served as a Dallas GOP precinct chair since 2015. During the Presidential primaries, Chris served on Marco Rubio’s leadership team in North Texas. In May 2016, he was elected as a Republican National Convention delegate from his congressional district to represent Ted Cruz. He also served as an Election Judge in both the primary and general elections, running and managing both. Chris knows that growing the conservative cause begins at the grassroots. He was appointed in August 2016 as Chairman of the Dallas Young Republicans and coordinated Dallas YR’s grassroots election efforts. At the end of the year, Dallas YR was awarded by the Dallas GOP for being one of the top phone banking clubs in the county.

Chris was re-elected as Chairman of the Dallas Young Republicans in December 2016. Under his leadership, the club has grown to over 170 members, making it the largest Young Republican club in the Texas. He has also served as the Texas Young Republican Federation’s Treasurer since August 2016. In addition to politics, Chris serves on the Welcoming committee at his church, Church of the Incarnation. He recently became the Financial Advisor to the Beta Theta Pi chapter at Texas Christian University. Chris knows what it takes to grow and build the Young Republican National Federation to become an influential and respected Republican organization on the national stage.
